BASIC BASE MAKE UP FOR AN EVERYDAY LOOK.
  1. Before
  2. Apply moisturizer to your face all over. I have very dry skin so a moisturizer which is manufactured to my skin is a must. I moisturize my skin everyday because I need to. Today I used Garnier Moisture Match in Dry to Very Dry Skin.  I have had this bottle for quite a while now and the cream is quite stiff and oily which helps me. Garnier Moisture Match is good because there are so many different bottles suited for different skin types.
  3. I then apply concealer to underneath my eyes and also to any blemishes on my skin -this at the moment is a lot, but usually I will only need a tiny amount of this. I am using the MUA Pro-Base Complexion Kit which comes with a creme foundation and highlighter which I will use later on.
  4. Next I will apply a BB Cream I love the one which Collection 2000 have made, it is called BB Secrets. I use the light one. I love this product because it comes with an added SPF 15 and it gives off a sheer, flawless complexion.
  5. After this I will apply my highlighter. Mine comes in a pinky-peach colour which I apply to the sides of my eyes and also the ridge of my nose and underneath my nose too. This help to prevent any unwanted, unflattering shadows across your face.
  6. The process so far.
  7. I then apply a bit of the MUA Pro-Base creme foundation to underneath my eyes because my skin seems to go a little bit oily underneath there and this helps to blot my skin. I will also just touch up any blemishes which the BB cream and concealer may not have covered.
  8. I will then get a large brush and go over the whole of my face with a powder. I use an ultra-thin powder because of my dryness and I use the colour Daydream by Constance Carroll. The trouble with powder I find is that it needs to be correctly matched to the colour of your face otherwise you will often end up being too pasty white or too orange- which neither on my skin is an attractive look.
  9. I will then either add a bit of blusher or bronzer. Here I used the MUA bronzer in shade 1. I only use this lightly on an everyday look because otherwise it looks too fake because I am naturally fair skinned.
  10. Then add a touch of mascara and your look is complete. I am very lucky and I have very long eyelashes naturally so I just coat them in the Colossal Mascara by Maybelline which I love as my eyelashes don’t clump together and they are left looking super long.
