Coast clothing

I work for Coast, a concession in House of Fraser. I thoroughly love my job and the benefits you get with working hard are amazing. Recently we have been doing some repricing of a lot of our clothes featuring bridesmaids dresses to a basic cardigan or jumper.
So if you're looking for that special dress or something to impress, you should definitely check out Coast fashions.

My post contains two Coast items, the Sydney trousers which fit me more like a pair of blackout leggings. I wear them everywhere and they are seriously the comfiest thing I own. At £55 they are definitely worth the money. I love them so much and they fit perfectly to my body shape. They are a jersey type fabric and quite high-waisted.
Also I am featuring the pink Livia top. At £35 this top is a bargain and one of the cheapest items we do. It has burntout lace on the front and back which gives it that extra bit of detail. It is super comfy and would make a great statement smart casual top.

Check out so many more Coast items at http://www.coast-stores.com/?lng=en&ctry=GB&

Kukee

I have no idea how but somehow I managed to find the jewellery collection by Kukee. Somewhere between searching 'ethnic jewellery' and finding out the name of the ankh symbol, I found their wonderful website.
Finding silver jewellery suited to my ideal style is hard but I fell in love with every item on this site. Their collections are wonderful.
I have picked out a couple of items which I have asked my boyfriend to get me for Christmas this year.

The thing which probably astonished me the most were the prices, so cheap! I haven't looked into postage and shipping prices yet but I hope he'll get me these three pieces. Fingers crossed.

Exclusive Rue du Rhone 42mm Chrono watch

The Rue du Rhone 42mm Chrono which can be found at The Watch Gallery.
What drew me to this watch was the detailing of this pristine watch. I think the rose gold decor and texture on the strap is unique. In fact I love anything with the alligator style printing on whether it be a bag to an item of clothing. I think how the pattern is printed on the strap makes the watch look expensive and solid. I certainly appreciate the Sapphire crystal glass because it is so scratch resistant and using a watch everyday the last thing you want is to be worrying about ruining/scratching the wonderful features. I also love the 88 symbol reconstructing into an infinity sign which I am obsessed with!

Monday

I had a Monday pamper day. I wasn't planned to be but it ended up that way.
I started off helping my beautician friend again being the model. Today I was booked in to get my underarms waxed. If you have a low pain tolerance, then getting your underarms waxed would not be for you. My pain tolerance is very good, getting my legs and bikini waxed doesn't hurt me much at all. But my underarms stung much more but it was still bareable. If I was able to get them done more often to decrease the hair growth and make the hair much lighter I would.. So perhaps I will be able to be tested on again soon.
I then spontaneously went to the Benefit Brow Bar, I have never been before and the girl was lovely. She taught me about my eyebrows and we booked another appointment. She waxed them into shape, into a lovely high brow arch and then tweezed any strays and used the Benefit eyebrow powder to fill them in perfectly. I have never used any Benefit products but what she used was amazing and I may look into getting it when my much cheaper MUA brow kit has finished... Or I'll ask for it for Christmas.
I then went back to my friend who said she'd give me a full manicure for helping her out so I chose the OPI pink polish called Heart-throb. It's a lovely light pastel pink which will be perfect for me when I'm at work. She also taught me a lot about my cuticles and I got a lovely relaxing hand massage.

What a good day.

Saturday 16 November 2013

It's a HAIR day.

Yesterday I dyed/lightened my already blonde hair because I wanted to try putting pastel pink onto the ends. I used the L'Oreal's Feria collection for both parts.

My hair definitely turned out lighter.

I then added some pink toner onto the ends. If you want the colour to turn out well, leave it on for as long as possible or you won't be happy for the result. I will be redoing my hair again tomorrow to add more colour because I want it to last longer. The tube and colourant you're given is a decent size though which allows multiple applications- thank god. I am tempted to try out LaRiche Directions colour and obviously the Bleach London Rose but we will see.

Any recommendations?

One new Primark item

Being a huge fan of Primark, when I saw this gorgeous denim jacket advertised on a blog I went straight into the shop the next day to hunt out this piece.
This wonderful jacket has the 'sheep' style fur on the collar, inside the body and also on the bottom of the sleeves. I have wanted a jacket like this for ages and ages and recently tried the same one on in Topshop for obviously double the money.

I am so happy I found this item! Now go grab yours because I can guarantee they will sell out so quickly.

Christmas Wish list, featuring The Watch Hut

2014 A5 Aqua Diary- WHSmith | Rose hair dye- Bleach London found in Boots | LuLu Leather Croc Clutch in teal- Boohoo | Michael Kors Parker watch- The Watch Hut | Galaxy Tablet 10inch | Black Sequin Jumper- Vero Moda | Fedora Hat- French Connection | Fanfare Lipstick- MAC

I have edited my previous wish list which I made last month. I have kept a few items but just changed the design. I am easily influenced by things I see on other blogs/magazines/websites but I do like to keep them within my own personal style.

I love making a wish list and I have been given a chance to make a new Christmas wish list featuring this amazing Michael Kors watch from The Watch Hut who have teamed up with e-tailPR to get us bloggers to produce our hopes for Christmas 2013. I am new to blogging and just been accepted in the e-tailPR network so this is my first ever post promoting a brand. I am a pretty indecisive person and choosing a watch to feature was definitely a hard job, I was torn between the numerous Michael Kors selection and the Casio classics. I love both. What drew me to come to a conclusion was the strap on this Michael Kors watch. I have very small wrists so I struggle with using links and metal straps like bracelet watches, so I found this stunning watch in navy and the design and strap in flawless. I know a lot of friends who own a Michael Kors watch and they are very lucky to own one. I was also delighted to see that The Watch Hut's prices are certainly lower then RRP and this one is 16% off.

The Watch Hut have completely SOLD me on this product.

Model

Today I had my first experience of being a model for a friend who is doing a beauty course. I had my bikini line waxed with hot wax. I have been waxed before, my 3/4 leg and my bikini done with cool wax with strips so it was my first time with the hot wax. It went well and I do think I prefer the hot wax. Does it hurt? No not really, I must have a high pain threshold though as I know people who can't handle it and have to stop. Being a model for someone guarantees free treatments which if you're pretty poor like me it is great. Something which costs about £20 I'm saving money. The treatments are always watched over by a tutor too so there is nothing to go wrong. It's also great when your therapist is confident because it makes you feel at ease. I have been booked in for an underarm wax next week, I'm slightly more worried about this one.. But I get a free manicure for doing this. I even volunteered to be the model for her exam.
The treatments I'll get for free:

Manicure
Half leg wax
Bikini wax and

Underarm wax.

Honestly I can't wait. If you're interested in doing something like this then go on Facebook and search your local beauty school and volunteer.. Believe me they will be thankful because there will be a lack of models wanting to be waxed. But really it's not that bad.

Date Night

Yesterday evening after a long day at work selling chocolates (I have two jobs), my lovely boyfriend and I had a date night. We don't do this often though I think we really should make an effort to but then again it makes it more special when we don't do it every week. Perhaps from the new year as a resolution we should do one every month.
Anyway, we went and had a very yummy meal at Giraffe we are lucky enough to have a pretty good selection of restaurants where we live but I got the choice so we went there.

I love the food here and have never had anything bad, however my Apple and Elderflower martini was far too strong which put a bit of a downer on my meal because previously having it before it's been so tasty. However my burger and fries were amazing. If you haven't been to Giraffe I would thoroughly recommend it.
We then went to the cinema to see the new Gravity film with George Clooney and Sandra Bullock it was very entertaining and definitely worth the watch even if you're not a sci-fi loving person. A bonus to the film was that it was so realistic and featured no aliens, thankfully. Also the fact we saw it in 3D gave an amazing atmosphere at times you could have heard a pin drop. My boyfriend thought this film was the best thing since sliced bread, myself not so much but definitely worth a viewing. £11 for a 3D film however was a heart attack, such steep prices which were ridiculous but I guess that's what you now have to pay to see the new blockbuster movie.

Have you seen the film? What do you do on your date nights?

Barefaced for Children in Need.

I love that the beauty world is getting involved with Children in Need. Kimberly Walsh, Suki Waterhouse and Laura Whitmore are among the stars who have been taking part in this event today. It's for a wonderful cause and it's lovely to see everyone's natural beauty. A few stars have been photographed by renowned photography Rankin to promote this campaign.

So November 8th, today women everywhere are going barefaced to work, at home, everywhere to help Children in Need and the lives of others who need our help.

Are you taking part in this today? I sure am.

No editing apart from a decrease in saturation. #barefaced for Children in Need.

Sunday 3 November 2013

The evening weekender.

Last night a bunch of my good friends were back from university and with a couple of their boyfriends we hit the city. I went to a tonne of different places that I wouldn't usually go and the company was great. Despite not being overly drunk it was a good night and I fully enjoyed it. It's always the best time when you get to see people that you haven't seen in months because it's always a time to have a great catch up and gossip.

I only managed to take a couple of good photos before we left.

So when I took back my unwanted items I replaced them with these:
Tartan trousers from Primark size 10, these are comfy and fitted. I have seen a couple of people wearing these on Blogger and I couldn't resist them.

Also I found these lovely monochrome smock dress for just £5! I love the detailing around the buttons.

I have shown this dress before on here however I changed the sizing and this one is now much better. Because I have a larger chest then I should have for the rest of my body I had to go up to a size 12 to allow me to actually move my arms in the dress. I think the capped sleeves don't help this so I still feel a little restricted. Primark is certainly good for fashion right now!

Because I took back my black top, I decided I would get this blue and white shirt. I love the block colouring and the two complement each other well. I went for these two colours however there are many to choose from. I also like the length of this shirt, quite a few at the moment are longer at the back but this is a standard length all the way around which is going to look great with some blue jeans.
